In July 2005 I could take this photo on the front yard of my former home. This Edelweiß grew there. I cannot tell you how it got there. I never planted anything and I never was in the Alps. I guess the previous owner might have planted it. It seemed to be fine there, since it came back every year.
These were the first steps taken with my Panasonic Lumux FZ-5. That camera could take nice pictures too.
