On the 24th August 2021 I managed to observe this dragonfly while visiting our garden with our cats. Luckily I could get my Nikon and shot a macro photo of this wonderful dragonfly.

There is a recreational area with a small lake near. Dragonflys visit us regularly.

I researched on the internet a bit. It seems to me it could be a Green-eyed Hawker – Aeshna isoceles. If somebody has a different opinion, please tell us via mail.
